Prin Diaries | Kilig Cafe by RomanceClass 2026

It’s been more than a week since I attended the first-ever Kilig Cafe event hosted by RomanceClass and Komiket at Ayala Malls the 30th with my book besties and it’s definitely one of the highlights of the love month for me. How should I describe it? It was a celebration of love in all forms: romantic love, friendship, family, love for the arts and crafts, and communities. There were bookish talks, book launches, merchandise, live readings, and lots and lots of books and good vibes.

I got all the things from my book shopping list and more. The exhibitors included not only RomanceClass authors but also various writing communities and collectives from Metro Manila. I met so many new authors and found books I want to add to my TBR. It was a super fun day of unli-kilig and bookish joy.

My friends and I were invited to a “Special Session with Book Clubs” and it’s just a parade of authors presenting their precious book babies like proud parents. *cries in wholesome* You can watch the reel I made about it here:

And here’s the books and treats haul!

I am often asked how to join RomanceClass, and I always have to clarify that they are not a club, and there is no membership. The writing class is a different thing altogether of course, but all romance readers are welcome. To begin exploring their contemporary romance collection, just follow their social media pages. I get most of my updates from their Instagram and Threads. Do give them a follow for event invites (both online and live), and they also have Kilig For Free events, when they make a bunch of their books available for download—completely FREE!

Filipino romance just hits differently! Here’s the list of my book haul with links if you want to add them to Goodreads or just to know more about them:

๐ŸŒทWin Meah Over by Ana Tejano

๐ŸŒทLike Nobody’s Watching by Tara Frejas

๐ŸŒทA Quiet Unfolding: a soft landing. collection by various authors
