My July TBR List

“No matter what happens, life is only a series of days.”

Lucy Foley, The Guest List

I’m a chronic mood reader, and I believe that if there is any “secret” to reading as much as I have been reading the past few years, it’s only the fact that I read whatever I want, whenever I want. This is also the reason why I rarely do monthly to-be-read (TBR) lists. However, this month I got a bit too ambitious and joined THREE read-alongs so I thought I might as well create one and make it into a fun and pretty journal spread 🍂 Here’s my lineup for July: ⁣⁣

BOOK CLUBS / READ ALONG: ⁣⁣

The Guest List by Lucy Foley ⁣⁣for Bibliophile Guild PH (IG @bguildph)

A Song of Wraiths and Ruin by Roseanne A. Brown ⁣⁣for Diverse Fantasy Lit Club (IG @fantasticallydiverselitclub)

A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara ⁣⁣hosted by my bookstagrammer friend Emmanuel of Emmzxiee Wiggzzy Books (IG @emmzxiee_07)

NETGALLEY:

Earthlings by Sayaka Murata ⁣⁣
⁣⁣

American Midnight: Tales of the Dark, selections by Laird Hunt

+++

⁣⁣These are books carried over from previous months, and were probably already featured here once or twice. Some books are just meant to be read slowly. +++ for anything else I might want to read because why not 😃

Americanah by Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie ⁣⁣

Not That Bad: Dispatches from Rape Culture, edited by Roxane Gay ⁣⁣

Milkman by Anna Burns ⁣⁣

⁣⁣

      1. Haha 😄 thank you! Apologies for the late response. I don’t think I’m already an expert to give advice, but I can say this: practice gives you confidence. So even though you’re not yet sure how to journal, just do it and see what happens. Continue looking for inspiration from social media platforms, but always apply what you learn so you’ll know what works for you 😉

  1. What a great lineup for your TBR! I’m most excited for A Song of Wraiths and Ruin. Thank you for leaving that carrd as well at the end. 💓 Happy reading!
